ROME TERMINI TRAIN STATION

The Rome Termini train station was named after the ancient Baths of Diocletian, which can be found across the street from the main entrance of the station. When the Roma Termini station was built in 1931 and completed in 1950, it was a great success both in capability and design. Once complete, the station was an inspiration to many architects attempting their own masterpieces and a standard many other stations strived to live up to. More importantly, it is a great station to spend some time in while waiting for your exciting train journey.
