GETTING THERE AND GETTING AROUND

BY AIR

Jerez Airport
It is possible to fly directly into the Jerez Airport, but this is a rather small airport. It has been recently built and has the most modern facilities and provides easy connections with major national and international destinations. There are daily flights arriving from London and Barcelona, as well as certain domestic locations.

Malaga International Airport
Andalusia region's largest airport, and Spain's fourth largest. Malaga is located about two-and-a-half to three hours away from The Sherry Triangle by car.

Sevilla International Airport
It is much smaller than the Malaga location, but it is only a hour and a half drive away from Jerez de la Frontera.

TRAINS

Jerez de la Frontera
The recently restored railway station provides rail links to major cities and provincial capitals. Jerez is on the main line between Sevilla and Cadiz.

Puerto de Santa Maria
From Madrid (Atocha train station) there are 3 daily (4 in the Summer) Alvia trains direct to/from Cadiz, which stop at El Puerto as well as Cordoba, Ciudad Real, Jerez de la Frontera, Puertollano, and Seville.

Sanlucar de Barrameda
There are no trains to Sanlucar.

DRIVING

Driving is a great way to explore the Sherry Triangle, as it allows one to see much of the changing countryside that can be otherwise missed. Rental cars may be picked up in Jerez de la Frontera, Malaga or in Seville.
