We really enjoyed our trip!
We had no problems at any hotels-- I simply presented my passport, and we were able to check in right away.
Likewise, picking up the rental car was very hassle-free. We even got a free upgrade to a larger car.
The Evenia Rocafort in Barcelona was a lovely hotel. Very modern, clean, and stylish, with very helpful, friendly, English-speaking staff. Nice residential neighborhood, a little bit of a walk to the old town though.

Husa Europa in San Sebastian was great, large room, lovely hotel, nice staff. Again, a bit of a walk to the old town, but a nice walk right along the beach!
Barcelo Nervion in Bilbao was a very nice hotel, huge room, but not quite as modern in the rooms as I expected. I asked to have our room changed because the people upstairs were very noisy, and they accommodated that right away without a problem. Good location midway between the Guggenheim and the old town.
Santemar in Santander was beautiful. Gorgeous huge room, great service, free parking. It had great location close to the beaches, but it was kind of far from the center of the town, which was where we spent most of our time since it was winter. Would be excellent in the summer though.
The Husa hotel in Santiago de Compostela was quite nice. Nice cafe downstairs, and nice room.

Overall I was very happy with the accommodations. The rooms were very large by European standards, and the staffs were without exception great and helpful. No hassles whatsoever with any reservations.
The rental car (Skoda Fabia was the make/model) was great, again no hassles or extra fees, except 20 Euro local
surcharge which was fine.

The itinerary was wonderful. We added a visit to Montserrat on the way to Zaragoza-- MUST SEE. Would be great to mention this on the suggested itinerary, it was a highlight of our trip. Also, we stopped in Gijon instead of Oviedo. It seemed more on the way, and it was a wonderful town to stop in. Great sights and museums.
The flights were also easy-- No problems retrieving reservations or anything. Some of the planes were a little smaller than I would expect for trans-Atlantic flights, so next time I would look into what plane is on the itinerary more carefully. Good amounts of time for layovers-- not too long, but not rushed.

I would definitely recommend European Destinations to friends and family,and have done so already. This particular trip was a great itinerary. So many beautiful sights, lovely cities, great food, friendly people. Really a wonderful trip, enjoyed each city so much!!! Thank you!

My family and I had a great trip. We went to Barcelona, San Sebastian and Madrid, Spain and all our hotels were great. Centrally located, great customer service and very comfortable. I was so happy that I am sure to book another vacation through European Destinations.

Everything went as requested. Not one glitch!
Hotels were all fine and transportation (car rental reservation and airlines) was as expected.
