Zalakaros is an 800 years old town that became famous 35 years ago for its discovered thermal water. This healing water contains sulphur hydrogen, brome, hydrogen carbon and iodine. The covered bath is open during the whole year; the thermal bath surrounded by big nicely well-kept parks operates only in the season. The unforgettable experience will be completed by the beauty of the scenery: the harmonious transition of the plain to the softly increasing hills, the unit of the vegetation, the forests, meadow and blooming fields of the rare plants and the animals.
