The whole journey was wonderful, we really had a good time in Tuscany. The distances between villages were shorter than we had expected and the roads sometimes were steep and had quite a lot of turns. We think that theres no need to stay in Pisa for one night. I advise anyone thats going to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa should just drive through in the afternoon and catch a few poses with the tower before heading off again. That was our least favorite experience, but our best one came shortly after that. We then went to Lucca and stayed in the most wonderful little Bed and Breakfast(Corte Dei Folletti). It was literally a fairytale. The owner was very kind. His wife had painted the walls of our room with fairys and goblins. The room had a nice touch of old wooden beams and also some modern touches too. My family and I wished that we could have stayed longer. Our three day stay in Florence was fantastic. The hotel we stayed was Porta Faenza. Its location was quite good to walk around many main attractions. It was fun seeing medieval castles and cathedrals, not counting the huge sales in clothing stores. We bought so much stuff that we came home with an extra luggage! So pack light! All in all we had an amazing time in Italy.
