Coastal city of Tunisia, Hammamet, famous for its fine sandy beaches and turquoise waters, is located in the northeast of the country, 37.2 miles from Tunis, on Cap Bon. It is home to a popular seaside resort, particularly frequented by the jet set, which aligns all-inclusive hotel complexes along the sea. Sunbathing, al fresco dining and late-night discos are a way of life in Hammamet, the Tunisian St-Tropez.
