Our trip to Italy through European Destinations was fantastic! We got a great trip at a reasonable price. All our accommodations and transfers went smoothly. The hotels were exactly like advertised and some even better than expected. The only problem we encountered was in Rome with the hotel. I booked at Hotel Patria and they moved us to their "sister hotel" down the street without asking. The other hotel was ok but not the hotel I signed up for and read the reviews for. It was not fair for them to switch us without our permission. But everything else was wonderful. The hotels were nice, the staff very helpful, and the train tickets were just right. I have already referred family and friends to vacation through European Destinations, and they have already begun planning. Thank you for making it such a pleasant, economical, and easy experience! We are looking forward to our next European Destinations vacation!

The trip was AMAZING!!!! Each destination was very close to major transportation hubs and sights. The travel vouchers and hotel transfers were easy with no problems to use. This was the best trip to date, and I will definitely use this site again!!!!

9 - Venice - Florence - Rome - Naples

We visited Florence, Venice, Rome and Sorrento June 10-22. The service I received from European Destinations was very good. The booking agent I worked with was knowledgeable and helped me put together a good trip. I decided a week before leaving that I would rather stay in Sorrento than Naples and the agent promptly called and worked out a good place to stay. I appreciated the opportunity of making 4 payments. The hotel and train vouchers arrived when they were promised. I chose ED for the convenience of getting airfare, hotel and train bookings in one place, plus the large selection of hotels in each location. I would recommend ED for the independent traveler!

Venice (Mestre) - Plaza Hotel

Convenient and across the stree from Mestre Train Station- 20 minute train ride to Venice; 1 EUR each way; dedicated internet computer for patron use for $5 if did not have own email device; cozy room that seemed clean; comfortable bed; great towels; great, hot breakfast! attentive staff that helped in many ways- Highly recommended!

Florence - Porta Faenza

Two blocks from train station; walking distance of all major sites; full bath with tub but separate shower is miniscule; nicely tiled; smaller bedroom; comfortable bed; strange electrical system that turns off all lights when you leave and take the cardkey; free, dedicated Internet computer for patrons; good continental breakfast; Highly Recommended

Rome - Aberdeen Hotel

Ten minute walk from railway station on busy streets; older but well maintained; interesting key situation with large key fob and you must leave the key at the desk when you leave the hotel; comfortable bed; larger rooms; stingy on towels; staff helpful; good continental breakfast in pleasant room- Recommended

Sorrento (Meta) - Allimuri Hotel

Gorgeous bayside views, sumptuous lobby; good beach with amenities and pool; beautiful dining area; great, hot breakfast; location great for beach, requiring bus, taxi, or train trip of 20 minutes to get there; helpful staff- Recommended
