The highest Bavarian town stands in the foothills of the Alps, marking the end of the "Romantic Road". F�ssen's landmark is the 15th century Hohes Schloss (High Castle), an impressive gothic complex; very well preserved, it hosts nowadays an art gallery focused on Renaissance and late gothic masterpieces. It is also the starting point in visiting the romantically situated castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. F�ssen is best reachable by railway (100 km from M�nich).

Innsbruck

Innsbruck is one of Europe's oldest and most beautiful ski centers. Nestled in the Tyrolean Alps, the area has some 200 trails covering 500 kilometers (310 miles) and is perfect for beginner and intermediate-level skiers. It is a winter sports center with modern facilities. The world-famous Air and Style Competition at the Olympic Ski Jump stadium attracts over 25,000 visitors in early December and is a must-see for the ski lovers. Non-skiers and summer visitors can enjoy the sights of the medieval Old Town, the shops with Tyrolean specialties, and the many other outdoor activities that Tyrol offers. Culture seekers will be happy with world-class opera, gorgeous architecture, and superb museums.

Zell am See

Founded by monks in 740, Zell am See is nested between the Schmittenh�he and the waterfront of one of the cleanest European swimming lakes, Lake Zell. It has a charming old center that creates a calm, rustic, and adorned atmosphere - somewhat typically Austrian. The resort has a fascinating and fairly priced program of sportive, cultural, and just simply entertaining offerings throughout the year which include skiing, snowboarding, cross country, snow hiking, ice sailing, ice skating, hockey, sleigh rides and many others. Hello Our trip to Munich, Germany and Prague in the Czech Republic was amazing. We stayed at two hotels through European Destinations. The first, the Alpenblick Hotel in Fussen, Germany, is a true gem. I would highly recommend staying there since it has the best view of the Alps as well as location for exploring. It is on a crystal clear lake and the service was very friendly. The restaurant for dinner was very good, and the breakfast that was included was even better! The second hotel we stayed at in Prague was the Three Crowns Hotel, and the location near the city was good. It was a little further from where we wanted, but the accommodations were good and the breakfast with this hotel was also excellent. It was easy to use the bus system to get to the downtown area once we learned how to use it. Prague is a walking city and I would not recommend renting a car when there unless you plan on driving outside of the city. The airline we took over was Delta. This is the second time I have flown Delta overseas and they never disappoint. I highly recommend them when going internationally. In your advertising, I would push the town of Fussen in the Bavarian Alps in Germany. This town, next to Neuschwanstein Castle is one of the best places I have ever visited. Tour packages from Munich could be included and promoted by European Destinations. Our agent, Katherine, was quite accommodating, and was always there when we needed her.
