Trip Summary
3 nights in Reykjavik

Reykjavik offers an interesting mix of cosmopolitan culture and local village roots. A beautiful salmon river runs through the city limits, and so do fine parks and even wild outdoor areas. But against this backdrop of nature, Reykjavik has a packed program of familiar city joys too: art museums, several theaters, an opera house, a symphony orchestra and concerts/live music spanning the whole spectrum of age and taste. One must for all visitors is dining out on Icelandic specialties, including delicious seafood. Reykjavik is one of Europe's hottest nightspots, where the action on the friendly pub and nightlife scene lasts right through the night.

2 nights in Paris

Paris assaults the senses, demanding to be seen, heard, touched, tasted and smelled. Gaze at impressive monuments and savor its gourmet pastiche of cheese, chocolate, wine and seafood. Paris is a city of vast perspectives and intimate streets, of formal gardens and of quiet squares. Paris is relatively small as capitals go, with many of its major sights and museums within walking distance of each other. Stroll down the Champs-Elysees for the chic grand boulevard experience and Rue Cler for a more intimate snapshot of Parisian living.

Recommended Stay: At least 3 nights
Must See`s:
Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral, Jardin des Tuileries, Latin Quater, Avenue des Champs Elysees and so much more!

2 nights in Barcelona

Barcelona, the old Roman Barcino, is Spain`s second city, always on the biting edge of fashion, architecture, food, style, music and good times. Walk its narrow streets and wonderful plazas, or along the Ramblas, stretching from Plaza de Cataluña to the Harbor, encompassing the magic of the city: stalls full of books, birds and flowers. The city`s most powerful monuments open a window onto its history: the intricately carved edifices that comprise the medieval Gothic Quarter; the curvilinear modernism (Catalan Art Nouveau) that inspired Gaudí's Sagrada Familia; and the seminal surrealist works of Picasso and Miró, found in museums that peg Barcelona as a crucial incubator for 20th-century art. The recent restoration of the port area began with the development of a harbor for the Olympic Games of 1992. New modern squares, designed by leading artists such as Miró and Barceló have created a new style alongside Gaudi's modernist buildings. Now the city is ready to show every visitor how it has been transformed into one of the most moderns and active cities in Europe.

Recommended Stay: At least 3 nights
Must See`s:
Sagrada Familia, Picasso Museum, La Rambla, Barri Gotic, Park Guell, modernist buildings, Montjuic Hill, Barceloneta and so much more!

France

Charming properties of France is a collection of quaint, picturesque, historic, first-rate and boutique hotels in France for the discriminating, independent traveler. They are located throughout the country, in the heart of the countryside and in small towns. Most properties are family owned and operated, service is quite good, and in almost all cases the staff speaks some English. You can also expect extraordinary dining with regional specialties accompanied by local wines. France offers an exceptional variety of landscapes, from the Lavender Fields of Provence to the manicured Chateaux of the Loire. We have grouped into areas for your booking convenience. These suggested itineraries offer the opportunity to experience a different France. Absorb history, art and culture; discover exquisite cuisine and wine and explore France?s diverse countryside.

Iceland

This mid-Atlantic island is the nearest European neighbor to the U.S. An entirely improbable land at the top of the world, Iceland contains (among other things) a visible line separating two continents, glaciers covering volcanoes, thirty-foot-high exploding gouts of hot water, the landscape used by NASA to represent the Moon, people speaking ancient Norse, a town entirely overrun by elves, and days when the sun never goes down. Play golf at midnight because the sun never sets in summer. Fly to the Westmann Islands and visit some of the 10 million puffins that live there. And say hello to Keiko, the world's most famous killer whale.

Spain

Spain is a country of passion, excitement and enthusiasm unlike any other in Western Europe. Madrid, the magnificent capital, Barcelona, Valencia and Seville are effervescent cosmopolitan cities with some of the best museums and galleries in Europe. Costa-style resorts take much of the coast up although cities such as Alicante, Marbella, Malaga and Mallorca's Palma retain their charm. And everywhere you can find secret hideaways with empty beaches. The best way to explore rural Spain is to visit Galicia and Asturias, the arid villages of Andalucia and the peaks of the Sierra Nevada and the Pyrenees.
