This was a great trip. Lufthansa was excellent both ways. The Graben Hotel in Vienna was perfect for what we wanted. A location in the center of the Kartner Strasse / Graben Strasse walking zone. The tour to Mayerling, the Vienna Woods and the Seegrotte was a highlight of our stay in Vienna, mainly for the Seegortte. The Seegrotte, the underground exhibits and the silent motor on the boat ride around the underground lake was the highlight of the little day trip. We booked another local day trip through the Graben Hotel to Bratislava, Slovakia (Bus over and High Speed Catamaran back). We never got there on our two previous trips to Vienna...A side trip well worth spending the day taking. We took a train to Budapest for the second half of the trip. The driver Stephen, who drove us to our hotel from the train station and from the hotel to the airport when we left was a hoot. Great guy.

Finally, the Budapest Hilton, I had an idea what we were in store for but my wife did not. I told her to request an upgrade to a river view room when we checked in. Magnificent view, high up overlooking the river and Pest on the other side. Anyone who has been to the hotel will agree. The Fisherman`s Bastion is almost part of the hotel and therefore part of the view. The view includes the Parliament Building, the Chain Bridge, the Elisabeth Bridge, The Franz Joseph or Freedom Bridge, several large hotels on the pest side of the river and when we were there, four River Cruse boats on the pest side and two or three more on the Buda (our) side of the river. Needless to say she and I burned through a large number of digital flicks on the view out of the picture window or our hotel room before we even left the room the first afternoon. To anyone reading this...spend the extra money to make this River View upgrade. You will never forget it.

I know tour guides will tell you that the food is better on the Pest side of the river and so is the evening action. The restaurants on the Buda side were not shabby and any more night life action on the streets would have been cause for a trip to a rest facility. We took a city tour on the bus, walked the Vaci Utca shopping street and had lunch across the square from the HardRock - Budapest. After taking 384 pictures and over an hour of video in Vienna and Budapest, we decided to just enjoy the rest of our time there without a digital record.

Great Vacation....Thanks to all involved....P.S the Breakfast buffets were very much worth the extra in both Hotels and the Apple Strudel at the restaurant across from the Graben how we will remember Vienna.

Everything was excellent, we enjoyed our stay Prague, especially the Strahov Monastary, it was just perfect for us. I loved your web site and the ability to pick the right hotel for us. Vienna was great.

My husband and I travel to Scotland every summer, and we take 20 or so Jr. High students to Italy every other year for a Western Civ extension on the curriculum, and then on the opposite years we take them to Washington D.C. and NYC. The point is we have travelled a lot and found your organization and help excellent.

The pre paid guy we arranged with you for the drive to the airport was excellent, that worked!!!!

Great vacation. Budapest is beautiful, exceeded my expectations. Sofitel was beautifully located to most touristic spots within walking distance. Both hotels, Sofitel in Budapest and K&k Maria Theresia in Vienna are highly recommended, for their locations and great accomodations and staff. The train trip from Vienna is very scenic.

Our vacation was good. We were in Austria and Hungary.
In Austria we stayed in hotel Regina. Location of the hotel was very convenient. Room was nice, we liked the view from the window, and hotel personnel very helpful and polite, breakfast was very good.
In Hungary we stayed in Normafa hotel. There was confusion about the street. Apparently there are two streets with the same name, but different sides of the city. City is very big, but transportation is available and very affordable.
Hotel was great. View of the city from the hills where hotel was is unbelievable. There is a great restaurant in the hotel with testy food. You can enjoy sauna and fitness center. Room was big and cleaned.

Transfer from Austria and Hungary was easy. It is around 2-2.5 hours by train.

I would like to mention that flight by KLM surprised me with food. This was my first time flying by this airline and we really liked it.
