The large open plan lobby is very bright due to the large windows, which offer a view of the Alster canal. The reception desk is near the entrance. At the back of the lobby is the bar and a comfortable seating area. To the left is the winter garden, a modern bright informal restaurant and breakfast room with large windows, leading on to a terrace, which is opened in the summer. It is a modern, red brick building situated on one of Hamburg`s many canals.
