This was our second vacation booked through European Destinations and it was again just perfect. We customized our own trip to see Geneva, Milan and Parma and then returned to Geneva to fly home. The hotels were excellent and the trains were amazing. All our hotels were close to the sights. Our hotel, the Manotel Royal, in Geneva was very close to the train station and the lake. We could easily walk to the old town. It was a lovely hotel with a very pleasant staff. The hotel in Milan, the Ibis Milano Centro, was just two subway stops from the cathedral. It was a budget hotel but very clean with an excellent breakfast. The hotel in Parma, the Starhotel du Parc was really lovely; much better than we expected. (I`ve seen entire hotel rooms that are the size of the bathroom in this hotel room.) It was just a short walk through the park to the old town. The park held hidden treasures too including a small cafe featuring an amazing Italian singer at night. - The trains between our cities were good. Ungrading to first class was inexpensive and worth it. We will remember to do this next time. (We are already planning the next trip.)
