Augsburg
Augsburg was founded by the Romans and carries emperor Augustus`s name. Still, only few Roman relics are to be seen today. The largest town along the `Romantic Road` trip to the Middle Ages and is also an Alps gateway. Most valuable attractions date from the medieval centuries: Fuggerei (the first ever social housing project for the poor), Der Goldene Saal, Town Hall, the Dom. Baden Baden
