My husband and I had a fabalous trip. Transportantion was perfect. Not one problem with arranagements. It was nice to have all of that taken care of months before our trip.

We were celebrating my birthday and our 10th anniversary while traveling in Paris. The Marriott Rive Gauche hotel staff were instrumental in making our stay special. A hotel manager upgraded our room and personally delivered flowers to the room. The Holiday Inn Express hotel in London was in a terrific area. Shopping and restaurants close by but having the tube and buses in the vincity was the best. We saw every part of London via public transportation. Venice in general was a disappointment....to commerical but the accomodations were great. Overall the experience was amazing and we managed to spend less than $5,000 (hotel, meals, and transportion, and gifts of our two kids) for 7 days of travel through Europe.

I have told all of my family and friends about my European Destination experience...I`m sure they`ll be booking their vacations with you too.

My hotel in Paris, Cervantes, was very nice. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and people around the neighborhood were very friendly. The room was very small, but using it only to sleep and shower, who cares.

The flight was great going to Paris, in between Paris and London and returning to the USA.

I have flown Continental and Air France internationally and will recommend these airlines to anyone who asks.

As with my previous `Destinations` experience (Beachdestinations and Hawaii) - Europeandestinations.com provided a flawless travel experience.

Delta flight to Paris - smooth and on-time.
Hotel Marceau Champs Elysees - exactly as advertised, clean and decent breakfast provided and great location.
Air France flight from Paris - London - on-time and smooth.
Hotel Olympic House in London - clean and convenient. Extremely convenient to Public Transport and shops/eateries.
Delta flight from London to Minneapolis - smooth, on-time... and Empty ! plane had only 15% of the seats occupied.

Everything booked through your website was Great !
When booking, I called in for some minor detail and ended up talking to one of your representatives who gave me fantastic information on Paris and London, but more specifically - gave me great tips on hotels she thought I should stay at. This proved invaluable as I would have likely ended up in a part of town that I would have enjoyed much less.
I really think of your site as a Web Only site with no customer service, but I was certainly wrong in this case.

The only feedback I can provide is that your offerings for transport and activities are not quite as good as what I was able to book on my own but it is nice that you offer them on your website for those that prefer a `total package` with no need for additional research or work.

Only other comment is that I wish I would have spent 4 days in each city instead of the standard 3 day stay.

HOTELS:
Our hotels were PERFECT. I signed up for this trip without knowing the areas at all, so I entirely trusted European Destinations (and Sara) to find us the best locations for our sightseeing plans. She put us in the Elysée Union hotel in Paris. The first time we took a step out of the hotel, we realized that you can see the entire Eiffel Tower right outside the front door (see attached photo)! The pastries at the hotel breakfast were also incredible! And the hotel was in an ideal location to access the Métro, which we took for all of our travel ? all across Paris and down to Versailles.

Complaints about the Elysée Union: Their website includes Internet access as an AMENITY ? it didn?t mention that there is a stiff charge for Internet access ? I wish they had just given us a warning on this! Also, our room wasn?t ready until about 2pm, which can be difficult when you come in on a morning flight and want to change clothes and freshen up.

Next, we stayed in the K+K George Hotel in London. Gorgeous, clean, safe neighborhood ? also an ideal location for underground train travel. And the Internet access was FREE! This was important to us because we thoroughly researched our trip before we left, but when you?re there, new ideas present themselves (like buying WICKED tickets!) and it?s nice to be able to research travel and buy tickets online.

We had a couple of problems at the K+K George Hotel (the Internet wasn?t working in our room, the air conditioner wasn?t working in our room), but when I called the front desk, they were impeccably polite and sent someone immediately to fix the problem.

TRANSFERS:
All of our flights worked out well. Our plan was a bit tricky because 2 of us were flying out of Portland, OR and 1 from Pittsburgh, PA. But our flights worked out well. We had a few snafus, but none that were in European Destinations? control (it would have been nice to know that they were going to force us to check our carry-ons for the flight between Paris and London ? my laptop was in my carry-on, and my laptop screen was seriously cracked on that flight. If I had known about this, I would have taken the laptop out before we got to the plane, and carried it with me).

SUMMARY:
I just want you to know that I am highly likely to recommend European Destinations to my friends, and Sara Arqueza in particular. Sara was polite, kind and efficient. When we requested changes to our itinerary, they arrived almost immediately in my email. She made extra efforts to work out our flights so that my sister in PA could make the international trips with us even though it complicated our schedule. We loved our trip, and are so happy that we chose European Destinations.

We enjoyed our vacation to Paris and London. The transportation and transfers were easy and we had a great experience with the airlines. The hotel in Paris, Eiffel Seine was literally around the corner from the Eiffel Tower. There were cafes and supermarkets less than a block away. The hotel was clean, the rooms were larger than expected and the staff was very helpful and informative. The hotel in London was perfect. The rooms were clean and well designed. Our vacation was perfect. The Holel Magellan was great. The room, the staff, breakfast each morning was just perfect. In London the Express Holiday Hotel was basic but a great value. The room was nice and clean, the staff was pleasent and helpful and underground station was right behind the hotel for easy travel into central London.
