Our vacation was wonderful. The hotels we chose were very good, the one in Paris (Melia Royal Alma Boutique) was excellent and while we have no complaints about the one we chose in Barcelona (Hotel Condado), it was a little far. We would have preferred something more central in Barcelona. Our flights worked out well also. The staff at the Alma in Paris were wonderful. They went ot of their way to make us feel comfortable and offered suggestions for shopping, restaurants and the like. They spoke not only French, but also English and Spanish. They also arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport upon arrival which was wonderful, and called a taxi for us upon departure. The hotel itself was very clean, very neat, offered a decent breakfast and had a nice lounge area where you could sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine or cocktail. The rooms were a good size, large bathroom, and very comfortable. Internet access was very good and, as we said, the staff was terrific. It was centrally located, well within walking distance to the nearby Eiffel Tower and other sites, as well as restaurants, shopping, the Metro and buses. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at the Condado in Barcelona were very helpful as well. The hotel was also very neat and clean, the rooms were a good size and the bathroom was large. And, again, the staff was very helpful in showing us how to get around and recommending restaurants and the like, mapping out directions and helping us with the Metro. We would recommend this hotel, if you don`t mind the walk. The room also came with breakfast in a nice dining area which was very good, a nice variety of foods and coffee.

1. Transportation arrangements were fine. The air carriers were British Airways and Iberia. There were no problems - vouchers were immediately acknowledged.
2. Hotel accommodations were sufficient at both hotels; Breakfast fare had ample choice, the staff was friendly and helpful; the hotel location was great and in an upbeat neighborhood.
I felt similarly about the hotel accommodations and hotel location in Barcelona. Overall, the trip was a joy.

We arrived in Barcelona on 12/27/11. We stayed 3 nights at H10 Marina. The hotel staff was pleasant. Breakfast was very good. Rooms were nice with a decent sized bathroom.

Wearrived in Paris on 12/30/11. We stayed 3 nights at Royal Magda Etoile hotel. The staff was amazing. We mentioned it was our 20th wedding anniverdary and within minutes, they delivered chmpagne and snacks. We needed help with our electrical outlets and also our safe. The help arrived within minutes and were very friendly. We also asked the staff to research what attractions were open on New Year`s Day and they gave us some options. The rooms were very small as was the bathroom. Very typical for Paris though. The location was awesome! One block from L`Arc De Triomphe.

This is the second time I have used European Destinations to plan my trip and like the first round, it was perfect! My mother and I went to Paris and Barcelona- both hotels were excellent. In Paris we stayed at a quaint, small place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and they had a nice breakfast. In Barcelona, we stayed at Catalonia Ramblas and it was a great location, right off the Gothic quarter. All flights went as planned. We will be using this site for our next adventure!
