Forssa is a charming town located at the centre of the triangle, joining the main cities in the south of Finland of Helsinki, Tampere and Turku. The town has a historical and cultural atmosphere, which originates from Forssa's colorful past as a centre for the textile industry. The most notable landmarks include the impressive red brick buildings of Kutomo and Kehraamo - former a textile mill and a spinning mill respectively. There is a wide range of sports opportunities such as the Feeniks sport centre, various sporting clubs, sports fields, running tracks and outdoor recreation areas as well as the Vesihelmi Water Park, providing excellent facilities for exercise. At the stately Cotton Mills area, there are museums and art exhibitions displaying the history and traditions of both the town and the region.
