Trip Summary
2 nights in Warsaw

Much of Warsaw's historic center was painstakingly recreated and today's Old Town buildings are closer to the original architecture than they were ever before. It has a wealth of shops and restaurants to potter around in. The city also boasts many green spaces, with leafy parks where rowing boats cruise past outdoor cafés, during the summer, and free classical concerts attract. In addition, the Former Jewish ghetto is a stark reminder of the unforgiving hand of history. The nightlife scene is equally surprising, with the city's increasingly well-dressed youth flocking to the countless bars and clubs of a city that now hums after dark.

2 nights in Tallin

Founded in 1154, Tallin is the oldest capital in Northern Europe. The city is an important industrial, political and cultural center and seaport. The main tourist attraction is the Old Town - one of the best-preserved medieval town centres in Europe, listed the UNESCO World Heritage Sites List. It boasts a town wall with 26 defence towers, the Dominican St. Catherine's Monastery founded in 1246, the 600-year-old Gothic Town Hall, the world's oldest functioning pharmacy on the Town Hall Square and the 159 metres high Oleviste Church which was the highest structure in the world in the 16th century. Also well worth visiting are: the Eastern districts around Pirita Convent and Kadriorg Park and Castle, and the Estonian Open Air Museum (Eesti Vabaohumuuseum) near Rocca al Mare, west of the city, preserving aspects of Estonian rural culture and architecture.

2 nights in St Petersburg

Founded by Tsar Peter the Great in 1703 as a "window to Europe," Saint Petersburg served as the capital of the Russian Empire for more than two hundred years. Nowadays it became a major European cultural center, and the most important Russian port on the Baltic. The city center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The main tourist attractions are: the Hermitage, the Mariinsky Theatre, and the Russian Museum. The most famous inhabitants of this city were Dostoyevski, Pushkin, Tschajkovski, and Tcherniavski.

2 nights in Moscow

The country's principal political, economic, financial, educational center, Moscow is one of the oldest and most beautiful Russian cities. It is the site of the famous Kremlin and is world-renowned for its architecture and performing arts culture. Its museums and galleries are some of the largest and most important in the world, housing frequent art exhibitions. Moscow is also well known as the site of Saint Basil's Cathedral, with its elegant onion domes, as well as the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

Estonia

The northernmost and the smallest of the three Baltic States, Estonia is a picturesque country with much to offer to its visitors. One of the oldest peoples in Europe, Estonians were already living on the coasts of the Baltic Sea at the time when the first pyramids were erected in Egypt. The variety of landscapes, flora, seasons, weather and moods makes it a great tourist attraction. North Estonia blends past and present in harmony from trendy Tallinn to the quiet of bogs and romantic fishing villages. South Estonia offers rich nature, lakes and hills, the nostalgic atmosphere of small towns and the academic-bohemian ambience of the university town Tartu. West Estonia is characterized by vast expanses of land, peace of mind and fresh sea air, bays abounding in birds, juniper fields, pine trees and people toughened by the sea breeze on the coast.

Poland

Poland is a multifaceted country where the capital and medieval towns are trawled by modern city slickers, and where horse-drawn carts negotiate country lanes, untouched by progress. The enthusiasts of nature will surely enjoy the golden sand of its Baltic coastal beaches to the north and the rocky crags of the Tatras to the south. To those with a taste for history and its mementoes, Poland offers many painstakingly restored old town complexes, the Royal castles of Warsaw and Krakow, the former capital, and old palaces erected by Poland's magnates.

Russia

Russia is the largest country in the world, stretching from Poland to Korea and from the Polar Regions to the deserts Asia. From the snowy peaks of Caucasus Mountains to the ancient domed majesty of Moscow, Russia has some of the worlds greatest sights to discover. Start your sightseeing with St. Petersburg and Moscow that will delight you with world class museums, churches, historic centers and other exciting places. Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, Pushkin, Tchaikovsky are just some of the personalities who have contributed to the rich cultural heritage.
