Day 1 to Day 12
Day 1 (Tuesday) Frankfurt
Arrival in Frankfurt and transfer to your hotel. Frankfurt boasts impressive modern skyscrapers while preserving its delightful charm.

Day 2: (Wednesday) Frankfurt - Rüdesheim - St. Goar - Cologne
In the morning we travel to Rüdesheim. Short tour of the city`s historic center. Next we board a boat and sail along the most picturesque stretch of the Rhine: the Lorelei valley. We disembark in St. Goar and travel to Cologne.

Day 3: (Thursday) Cologne - Hamburg
After breakfast we depart for Hamburg. Upon arrival you enjoy a sightseeing tour of the city. The city is internationally known for its elegant boulevards, the port, which is the second largest in Europe, and the famous neighborhood of St. Pauli.

Day 4: (Friday) Hamburg - Berlin
In the morning you are free to explore at your leisure. Afternoon transfer to Berlin.

Day 5: (Saturday) Berlin
In the morning you visit the capital`s historic highlights, such as `Unter den Linden` boulevard, remnants of the wall and the Brandenburg Gate. You will also explore the more modern parts of the city, including the German parliament and Potsdam square. Afternoon free to visit Berlin at your leisure.

Day 6: (Sunday) Berlin - Potsdam - Frankfurt
After breakfast we travel to Potsdam where we visit the Sanssouci palace and park. In the afternoon you board a high-speed train and travel from Berlin to Frankfurt. Transfer to your hotel and dinner with the rest of the group.

Day 7: (Monday) Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Freiburg
In the morning we travel from Frankfurt to Heidelberg. Visit the famous castle ascending with the cable car and enjoy a sightseeing tour of its historic city center. Idyllically located on the shores of the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany`s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. If weather conditions allow it, you will take the scenic Schwarzwald Hochstrasse to Freudenstadt. The next stop is Freiburg.

Day 8: (Tuesday) - Freiburg - Lake Titi - Lindau - Füssen
After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of lovely Freiburg, famous for its beautiful church tower. Next you travel to Lake Titi, nestled in the legendary Black Forest. You will have the full `Black Forest experience`: Make your own Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte and savor it afterwards with a cup of coffee and gaze at a short presentation on the cuckoo clock production. Continue the tour to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which boasts spectacular views of the Alps. Depending on weather conditions you will take the Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to the final destination Füssen, the southernmost point on the tour of Romantic Germany.

Day 9: (Wednesday) Neuschwanstein - Wieskirche - Oberammergau - Ettal - Garmisch-Partenkirchen
You begin the day with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious `Mad King`. In the afternoon, travel to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. Along the way, visit the Wieskirche Church before continuing the tour to the Ettal Benedictine Abbey. Taste the delicious cheese on a visit to the local cheese factory. Today`s final destination is Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany`s winter sports capital and site of the 1936 winter Olympics. This mountainous region also features Germany`s highest peak, Zugspitze (2.962 m).

Day 10: (Thursday) Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck - Linderhof - Munich
In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Innsbruck, Austria, located in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. As an alternative excursion you may also ascend to the top of Zugspitze (instead of Innsbruck, not included). In the afternoon you travel to Munich and visit Linderhof Castle. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one where the king actually lived for a significant amount of time.

Day 11: (Friday) Munich
After breakfast, you visit the city`s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. The capital of Bavaria state, Munich, is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. In the evening you enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner.

Day 12: (Saturday) Munich - Rothenburg ob der Tauber - Frankfurt
After breakfast we travel to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Romantic Germany. Sightseeing tour of this lovely medieval town concluding with a Schneeballen (snow ball) tasting, a pastry considered the signature dish of Rothenburg. Next you travel to Frankfurt. The program ends at Frankfurt airport, around 6 pm.
During holidays, conferences and special events, accommodation may only be available outside the city. Excursions and tours are usually not affected by these events.
