* All the flights went smoothly, no problems with bookings on USAir, Olympic Airlines, Aegean Airlines, or Turkish Airlines. * Athens Lotus hotel was perfect. Nice location, walkable to everything, great simple taverna across the street. The staff was helpful, and the included breakfast was delicious (especially the yogurt!). *When we arrived in Chania, Crete, and tried to check into our hotel, the Santa Marina, they `upgraded` us to Cavo Spada, a 5 star resort about 4 or 5 miles away. Although Cavo Spada was lovely, and the staff was professional, and the all-included meals and drinks were fine, we would have preferred the Santa Marina because of the location. But the upgrade was a true upgrade, and the resort was lovely. *Hotel Maywood in Istanbul was very nice; again, a helpful staff, a clean and quiet room with a little street balcony. We patronized the restaurants in the area - which are open late at night and provide all sorts of interpersonal entertainment. *All legs of our trip went smoothly. Hotel bills were paid in full, no extra or surprise charges, and the flights were on time. European Destinations did an excellent job booking a complicated trip. I have already recommended the agency to friends seeking bookings that are a little different from the standard tour schedules. Joseph H
