Ireland

Ireland is a unique country with breathtaking natural landscapes and a fascinating history. It is full of statues, monuments, dolmens, and other stone arrangements of cultural and historical significance dating back to the days of the ancient Celts. Take a glimpse into the spiritual past and present of Ireland by visiting its churches, monasteries and cathedrals. In Ireland you will also find a great variety of natural wildlife preserves, public parks and artistically-cultivated gardens.

Thank you for asking for feedback. We couldn`t have been more pleased with how easy our bookings were with you and how organized the itinerary was - in a packet when we arrived in Ireland with detailed hotel information, train schedules and train tickets. The hotels - the Gresham in Dublin, was wonderful. We booked a two day Aran island package with you with two nights in Galway. We were not told of the hotel, other than it would be a 3-star hotel, until our arrival in Ireland when we picked up the itinerary at the Gresham. I was a bit worried about the hotel - Days Hotel in Galway. Days hotels are chains and generally conditions are not great. Well, that was not the case for the Days hotel on Galway - it was modern and spotlessly clean and had a huge work out facility and a pool. Unfortunately as we didn`t know of the hotel until our arrival we did not have swim suits or exercise clothing and as I was traveling with a child the pool was a must. Therefore had to buy them. I would recommend you give advance notice of the hotel for this reason. Secondly the hotel was a mile or so away from the center of town which required a taxi to the center. A hotel closer to the center would have been better. Other than that, wonderful experience. Thank you. Samantha G.

Dublin
With over 1000 years of history Dublin has experienced many changes, particularly in the last decade. European Union membership and increased prosperity have transformed Dublin into a multicultural city with a thriving economy, ranking it among the top tourist destinations in Europe. An hour walk from the top of Grafton Street, across the Liffey, up O'Connell Street, and farther into north Dublin is a walk through time and, also a glimpse of some of the pieces that must eventually fit together.
