Day 1 to Day 14
Day 1: (Sunday) Frankfurt
Arrival at Frankfurt airport and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free to spend at your leisure. We recommend an optional boat excursion on the Rhine from Rüdesheim to St. Goar (regular and private services available). Frankfurt is the financial and commercial heart of Germany, a city full of fascinating contrasts between modern development and historic landmarks. At 7 pm you will meet your guide at the welcome-dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: (Monday) Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Freiburg
In the morning we travel from Frankfurt to Heidelberg. Visit the famous castle ascending with the cable car and enjoy a sightseeing tour of its historic city center. Idyllically located on the shores of the Neckar River, Heidelberg is Germany`s oldest university town and one of the most popular destinations in the country. If weather conditions allow it, you will take the scenic Schwarzwald Hochstrasse to Freudenstadt. The next stop is Freiburg.

Day 3: (Tuesday) - Freiburg - Lake Titi - Lindau - Füssen
After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing tour of lovely Freiburg, famous for its beautiful church tower. Next you travel to Lake Titi, nestled in the legendary Black Forest. You will have the full `Black Forest experience`: Make your own Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte and savor it afterwards with a cup of coffee and gaze at a short presentation on the cuckoo clock production. Continue the tour to the small island of Lindau in Lake Constance, which boasts spectacular views of the Alps. Depending on weather conditions you will take the Alpine road from Lindau to Oberstaufen and Immenstadt to the final destination Füssen, the southernmost point on the tour of Romantic Germany.

Day 4: (Wednesday) Neuschwanstein - Wieskirche - Oberammergau - Ettal - Garmisch-Partenkirchen
You begin the day with a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, built by Ludwig II, the notorious `Mad King`. In the afternoon, travel to Oberammergau, famous for its Passion Play and lovely crafts. Along the way, visit the Wieskirche Church before continuing the tour to the Ettal Benedictine Abbey. Taste the delicious cheese on a visit to the local cheese factory. Today`s final destination is Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany`s winter sports capital and site of the 1936 winter Olympics. This mountainous region also features Germany`s highest peak, Zugspitze (2.962 m).

Day 5: (Thursday) Garmisch-Partenkirchen - Innsbruck - Linderhof - Munich
In the morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Innsbruck, Austria, located in the Inn valley, in the heart of the Alps. As an alternative excursion you may also ascend to the top of Zugspitze (instead of Innsbruck, not included). In the afternoon you travel to Munich and visit Linderhof Castle. This is one of the 3 castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria and the only one where the king actually lived for a significant amount of time.

Day 6: (Friday) Munich
After breakfast, you visit the city`s main attractions, concluding the tour at the Marienplatz square with its famous clock tower. The capital of Bavaria state, Munich, is famous for its Oktoberfest, which is annually celebrated in September. The afternoon is free to explore at your leisure. In the evening you enjoy a traditional Bavarian dinner.

Day 7: (Saturday) Munich - Zurich
Breakfast at the hotel. Around noon transfer to the train station. Travel by train from Munich to Zurich. Upon arrival in Zurich transfer to your hotel.

Day 8: (Sunday) Zurich
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Zurich and its main monuments. Take in fabulous views of the Alps and Lake Zurich from the Höhenstrasse. We will stop briefly in Rapperswil, the quaint City of Roses. On our way back to Zurich you enjoy a lovely cruise on Lake Zurich (no guide). Arrival at Zürich-Bürkliplatz. Make your own way back to the hotel.

Day 9: (Monday) Zurich - Luzern - Mount Titlis - Interlaken
Departure for Luzern. Short sightseeing tour and free time to explore on your own. At noon we continue to Engelberg. Take the rotating Rotair cable car to the top of Mount Titlis and its spectacular glacier. From an elevation of 3.020 m, visitors enjoy spectacular views of the Central Alps. In the afternoon we continue to Brienz and visit the local wood carvers. Our next destination is Interlaken at the foot of Mount Jungfrau.

Day 10: (Tuesday) Interlaken - Bern - Gruyeres - Geneva
From Interlaken we drive along Lake Thun to Bern, located on the Aare River, overlooking the Alps. After a sightseeing tour of the city, we continue to Gruyeres, a picturesque village with its impressive medieval castle.

Day 11: (Wednesday) Geneva - Montreux - Zermatt
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Geneva and visit the beautiful parks along the lake, the cathedral and the European headquarters of the UN. Then we travel to Lausanne and Montreux, passing the magnificent Chillon Castle. Free time to explore Montreux. In the afternoon we travel up the Rodano river valley as far as Täsch. From here you continue by narrow gauge train to Zermatt, nestled at the foot of mighty Mount Matterhorn. Dinner at your hotel.

Day 12: (Thursday) Zermatt - Nufenen Pass ? Lugano
In the morning you are free to explore at your leisure or undertake an optional excursion to the top of Mount Gornegrat (not included). In the afternoon you return to Täsch where you board the bus for a spectacular drive over the high Nufenen mountain pass to Lugano.

Day 13: (Friday) Lugano - Lake Como - St. Moritz
In the morning we travel to Italy to visit magnificent Lake Como. Travel along the shore of the lake via Menaggio to Chiavenna in the Beggaglia valley. In Castasegna we cross back into Switzerland and complete today?s tour in the ski resort of St. Moritz. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 14: (Saturday) St. Moritz - Vaduz - Zurich
In the morning we travel via Fluela and Davos to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. Free time to explore this charming city. In the afternoon we continue to Zurich via the Toggenburg region, famous for its picturesque houses. Arrival at Zurich central station or the Swissôtel around 5 p.m. End of tour program.
During holidays, conferences and special events, accommodation may only be available outside the city. Excursions and tours are usually not affected by these events.
