Thank you European Destinations for a wonderful vacation! The connections were without problems and every hotel was fantastic. The vouchers were accepted with no questions. The cab driver (Peter) who picked us up (and returned us) to the airport was very nice.
The first hotel in Prague, The Best Western Kinsky Garden, was lovely - across from a beautiful park, close to the tram, and a short walk to `Old Town`. The room was small but very clean and quiet. The breakfast was very good. Valeria (front desk) was extremely nice and helpful!
The only thing we would change if returning, would be the transport to Cesky Krumlov. We booked a train but were told by locals that the best way to get there is by bus. Train=4 hours, bus=3 hours and no transfer. In Cesky Krumlov, the Bellevue Hotel (U Mesta Vidne) was EXCELLENT! The room was HUGE, a beautiful view and a lovely breakfast. Just a short walk to the castle. Anna (front desk) was wonderful and answered all of our questions - pleasantly!
The last hotel, in Prague, was the `Savic`. The check-in was a bit lengthy but the room more than made up for it. Location was perfect - IN Old Town - and the room was large, with a crystal chandalier and marble bath. The breakfast (cooked to order) was wonderful.
While planning our trip, we were particularly impressed with Cristina (ext.341). She answered every question before departure and always returned my phone calls. THAT was really appreciated! And she did NOT try to oversell `add-on` excursions. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for that!
