Our trip to Spain was lovely. All the hotels were good. The best one was in Cordoba, the Maimonides right next to the great mosque. It`s a wonderful hotel. Historic Cordoba is a most charming place to visit.

We rented a car in Madrid. This was the first time we drove in Spain and we drove all over Spain with no problem. We really got a chance to see small quaint towns on our journey from city to city. Speaking Spanish is helpful when venturing out of the big cities and we found the people nice and helpful everywhere we went.

The roads in Spain are extremely well maintained, way better than in USA, so traveling was easy on the highways. There are no tolls like in France, except for the Mediterranean Coast traveling toward Barcelona. I would recommend very good maps for the cities with directional signs for the streets because for one`s safety, the GPS does not work well and should not be relied upon once inside a busy city. GPS aside, there are many one way and narrow streets so it`s easy to spend a lot of time driving around figuring out a proper route toward our destination. And this applied to all cities we visited. Sevilla was the most stressful in that regard. Parking is tough in the major cities, not just Sevilla. We found that the hotels may or may not have enough parking available at the time one needs it, so the maps showing all the public parking lots is essential if one travels by car. We plan go back to Spain with the next year or so and now we know the idiosyncrasies better.

It was fun to be in Spain during the Euro 2012 Soccer Tournament. Spain won against France while we were in Granada. In general, Spanish flags were hung everywhere with major enthusiasm abounding in their pride for their country. It was nice experience their spirit and be a part of it at that time.

This is my third time using European Destinations through the website. It`s easy and we have never been disappointed in the choices of hotels. Our cars have been fine and we`ve never had a problem with the vouchers.

I will definitely use European Destinations again.

Hotels, transportation and service worked really well for our 17 day trip to Barcelona, Granada, Seville, Cordoba and Madrid. It was difficult to decide what activities to choose from the website but I would highly recommend the Barcelona, Seville and Madrid cards. The booklet and maps included helped us organize and select our activities efficiently.

Everyone I spoke with at European Destinations was very helpful while booking our itinerary. Finding flights with good connections was not an easy task. This is why I customized and started my trip in Barcelona - we got better flights.

I would recommend europeandestinations.com to others. It was great to customize our trip with the help of their pre-determined trips. It was nice to have a selection of hotels to choose from, all of which ended up being very nice and comfortable. Everything that was booked had no problems...our flight, hotels, and car rental were all good to go when we arrived. They were helpful over the phone.

The trip was great and all the arrangements worked very well. In a couple of instances, the departure was a bit early so that we missed breakfast. In the case of the train departure, I was able to change the train ticket to later. In the case of the return flight, it was the only option, so I should have been able to opt out of breakfast for just that one day.

Otherwise, the web site made it easy to plan and get the itinerary I wanted and the prices were reasonable. It would be nice to be able to add "On your own" days within an itinerary.

Overall very pleased with your service. I am planning on using it again.

Our vacation to Spain was wonderful! Every hotel, train connection, and airline worked out perfectly. Not one problem! The hotels were are clean, comfortable and in good locations for getting around the various sights. Also, the staff at each hotel were extremely friendly and helpful - they helped us navigate their cities and gave very helpful advice! For the price, we were quite happy. All of the tickets for trains and planes were in perfect order and our transportation all went very smoothly. We were quite satisfied with all of the travel arrangements.
